RN3型系列高壓限流熔斷器是用于電力線路及輸電設(shè)備的過載及短路保護(hù)。
RN3型系列高壓限流熔斷器比RNL型有如下改進(jìn)。
1、熔體采用片狀變截面多斷口結(jié)構(gòu)，為使開斷能力增強(qiáng)。開斷速度加快，開斷后絕緣可以迅速建立。對抗過電壓沖擊能力得到改善。
2、RN3型系列高壓限流熔斷器。為了使其能與FN5負(fù)荷開關(guān)配合工作。完善了指示的基本功能。
3、按**標(biāo)準(zhǔn)草案GBL5166.1-5—《限流式熔斷器》中的試驗方法，可開斷20-150MVA的短路容量，而RN1型只能開斷40～80MVA 的短路容量。RN3型可配合FN5開斷過載電流。開斷過載電流。
4、熔斷器的工作溫度降低，熔管的額定電流得到提高，具體參見圖樣。
